Not sure which art classes will suit your child?
Let’s go through each of our art class options to explain what the different class times offer in each location.
In each of our current three art class locations we have three class times.
These are done by age groups so that children are doing art projects that are suitable for their age and ability.
We know that choosing which art class will suit your child can be tricky. So lets help you pick which option will work best for your young artist.
We also have online art classes for children who cant make the in person after school classes, or simply for whom online is a better fit.
Junior and Senior infants Art Class
This class is all based around making art fun, engaging and interesting.
While at the same time teaching them important fine motor and art skills, building their self confidence and teaching them about art history through stories and art projects.
Middle Art Class: 1-6th class
This art class time is designed for students in 1st class up to 6th class.
We focus on drawing, painting, art history, 3D construction and group projects through interconnected projects each week. Our aim is to build not only your child’s art skills but also their self confidence and ability to think creatively.
If your child is in 3rd class and above but has never done an art class before then we recommend they start here before they move to the advanced class.
Advanced Art Class (3rd class +)
We really focus on building our students individual art skills in this class.
We work on our drawing skills, building confidence through step by step projects, teaching students how to draw realistically and find their own style.
We build on our painting and print knowledge and create a strong foundation for each student that they will take with them into the future.
