after school art class in maynooth for children in primary school

Our 3.40pm art class is perfect for students from 1st to 6th class and is designed to spark creativity while building essential art skills.

Each week, we explore a variety of different activities, including drawing, painting, art history, 3D construction, and collaborative group projects.

These interconnected projects not only help develop your child’s artistic abilities but also boost their self-confidence and creative thinking skills.

For children in 3rd class and above who are new to art classes, this is the ideal starting point before moving on to our advanced classes.

Give your child the chance to unleash their creativity and thrive in a supportive, fun environment.

Advanced art class (3rd – 6th class)

In our advanced after school art class, we focus on building drawing skills and confidence through step-by-step projects, helping students learn to draw realistically while discovering their unique style.

We expand on painting and printmaking skills, creating a solid foundation that each student can carry with them into their future art career whether they decide to study art at secondary school or not.

We always say that the most important thing is that our students keep making art, in whatever form works best for them.

the craft corner eco friendly creative mantra central to our teaching ethos

The Craft Corner has a strong eco friendly ethos and we work on an ongoing basis with local businesses to use recycled materials.

We always impart this knowledge to our students in a positive, engaging way.

With a core class project every term focusing on reusing and recycling materials to teach our student how to bring their designs to life, problem solve and think outside the box.
