What is an online summer camp?
Each day we will have an online zoom class from 10am to 11.15
Students will be able to log on from 9.45 where they can have a chat with me before we start.
During this time we will complete a project together, and at the start of the week you will be given a resources pack with 5 extra projects (in a combination of video and printable format) which they can choose to complete during the week or at a later date. These extra projects will encorporate outdoor activities to encourage creativity and exploration.
To encourage completion and to give that personal feedback all students will upload both these projects and the ones we complete over zoom onto GOOGLE CLASSROOM.
What about materials?
You will need the following materials for your online summer camp
Once you are booked in you will be sent a link to purchase the materials on our website if you need them.
Watercolour Paints and a brush
White Paper and Coloured Paper – A4 size preferable
Pencil, ruler, eraser, scissors
Colours, either colouring pencils or markers or both.
Cardboard including flat card, egg cartons and toilet rolls
Poster Paints (optional)
Other materials like scrap paper, ribbon etc are handy to have but not essential
You will need access to a printer to print out some project templates.
The online summer camps will cost €45 per student and €5 for each additional sibling.
What ages is it suitable for?
The first online camp will be an all age camp suitable for children ages 5 to 11. Younger children in the camp may need some supervision with the projects. But in general each project will be designed so that all age groups will be able to complete them themselves, with older children creating more complex or detailed versions of the same project.
