Introduction to Stamp Making and Fabric Printing

We will be running an Adult Arts and Craft Day course at the Acre Project in Celbridge on Saturday the 20th August from 10am – 4pm.

The class will cover how to make various types of stamps and how to use those stamps and other methods to fabric print a bag. This class is suitable for complete beginners and those who have tried printing but would like to learn more. We will look at pattern creation and how to create a repetitive pattern.

The aim of the day course is to give you both the space and the skills to create your own fabric printed bag, to learn how to make stamps that you can use for fabric printing, making your own cards and lots more paper based projects. The space we will be using is a lovely tranquil area and lends itself to a very relaxing day of arts and crafts.

The cost for the day is €50/person and all materials are provided for you. You just need to bring lunch (there is a small kitchen that you can use on the premises), a notebook to take notes and yourself!
